Network Luncheon: September 2018

Obesity is a leading health concern in the United States. For many individuals, following the long-prescribed low-fat diet recommendations haven't provided much success. Our September Network Luncheon, presented by Dr. Tamara Hazbun, Department Chair of Medically Supervised Weight Loss at IU Health Arnett, will focus on the health benefits of choosing a low carbohydrate diet. Dr. Hazbun will share how you can achieve your health goals, improve overall wellness, and enjoy eating again through changes in your food choices. The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, September 19 from 11:30 - 1:00 pm at YWCA Greater Lafayette. Registration is $15 to attend ($18 to register online), and includes the cost of lunch and the presentation.  Lunch will be catered by Two Guys Catering & Bakery, and will consist of a meal that will be indicative of the types of food choices you can choose to support your metabolic health. If you would like to register by phone, please call YWCA Front Desk at 765-742-0075.
