Love & Logic: Classes Starting September 29

Categories: DVIPP, News, Violence Prevention & Outreach

Love & Logic is back at YWCA starting September 29! YWCA is thrilled to offer Love & Logic: Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts for adults who would like to learn more about how to provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children with previous history of trauma, abuse or hardship.

This class is specifically designed for parents, foster or adoptive families, and others serving children and teens who have experienced trauma. You will learn how to: stay calm; help your kids learn from mistakes so they don’t repeat them; set enforceable limits; and avoid enabling and start empowering. It will help you gain powerful insights into how trauma affects the brain and the science behind healthy attachment.
