If so, we have the perfect race for you! The 2019 Point 1K for Greater Lafayette will be held on Saturday, September 21. Grab your friends, family, kids and co-workers to join us for a fun day of celebration and fundraising for YWCA’s Women’s Cancer Program.

A Party with a Purpose

The Point 1K is unlike any road race you’ve been to before. It begins with a pre-race party in the Rubia Flower Market. Each registrant will because to fuel up for the race with Arni’s Pizza and two complimentary drink tickets for 6oz servings of beer, Gatorade, soda or water.

Racers are encouraged to arrive in costume, where an array of prizes will be awarded to the most inventive and outrageous racers. The Mammo-Grammy is the official prize trophy of the Point 1K, a work of art in it’s own right. Lovingly created by Point 1K volunteers, the golden MammoGrammy serves as a fun prize, as well as a reminder to schedule your annual mammogram.

All proceeds from the Point 1K benefit YWCA’s Women’s Cancer Program, which works to connect all women in Tippecanoe and surrounding counties with resources and support to ensure that no woman is unable to receive appropriate preventative care related to breast and cervical cancer.
